The recent terrorist attacks around the globe are probably causing many people to question their travel plans in the coming year. In the fall of 2001, the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. involved the same fears. At that time I was preparing for a 14-week trip across SE Asia and the South Pacific. Plus if I didn’t go on this adventure I probably would never get the chance to go again. Needless to say that in 14 weeks on the road I had the time of my life. And only the usual problems; not enough sleep, eating too much and not taking enough photographs.
